The Society employs 3 staff members and the office is situated in Stutterheim, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
We play a close supporting role for our members. In addition to fulfilling the usual functions of breed promotion and marketing, we operate standardised systems embracing performance recording, data storage and processing, and the inspection and selection of animals according to prescribed norms.
We fulfil an important educational function whereby breeders are taught the principles of applied genetics and the application of advanced breeding and evaluation techniques. |
